Originally designed to protect surfers from chafing against their boards, arash guardis a versatile, long-sleeve performance shirt used for water sports like kayaking, SUP, kiting, and sailing. Today, they are essential for anyone seeking high-level sun protection while on the water.

Does the UV protection wash out over time?

Our gear is rated UPF 50+, blocking ~99% of UV rays. Over a long period of heavy use and washing, this might reduce slightly to roughly 94% (UPF 30-40 range), which still offers excellent protection.
